Hello
I’m Brian Rempert, a Visual Communication Designer passionate about bringing ideas to life through thoughtful design and visual storytelling. I create print and digital design that catches attention, communicates clearly, and gives people a reason to connect.
What I enjoy most about design is the creative journey—taking an early idea and shaping it into something meaningful. I approach each project like a jigsaw puzzle, bringing together typography, colour, imagery, and layout so every piece supports the message. From research and brainstorming to production, I enjoy exploring possibilities and challenging myself to push my creativity further.
Seeing those pieces come together into a finished design that tells a story and connects with people keeps me inspired.
My Story
My path into visual communication has taken me from serving in the U.S. Navy to helping brands and communities tell their stories. Along the way, I’ve learned that listening, curiosity, and teamwork are just as important as the creative work itself.
During my 12 years in the Navy, I worked in public affairs, graphics, photography, video, and visual documentation. That experience taught me to think on my feet, pay attention to details, and communicate clearly with different audiences. It also shaped the sense of responsibility and care I bring to every project.
My career has since included graphic and brand design, credit union marketing, hospitality, and administrative support. I’ve created communications for financial services, healthcare, education, nonprofits, and public sector organizations, each with its own audience and purpose. I enjoy learning what matters to people and turning that understanding into design that feels relevant and connects with them.
Giving back matters to me, and I’m drawn to volunteering and opportunities that support people in my community. Working with community organizations has strengthened my interest in using creativity to make information accessible and help meaningful causes reach more people.
Outside of design, you’ll often find me drawing, reading, taking photographs, riding my bike, or exploring the outdoors with my dog, Jimmy. I also enjoy travelling, discovering new places, and finding inspiration in everyday details—usually with a coffee close by.
